Dublin, Pretoria, Glasgow, Durban Leading The Race To Host URC Grand Final

Four cities are leading the race to host the United Rugby Championship Grand Final on Saturday, June 14. Dublin, Pretoria, Glasgow and Durban, however, Cape Town (5), Munster (6), and Edinburgh (7) could all host if they are the highest-ranked team in the Grand Final.

With the highest-ranked team earning the right to host the decider, all eyes now shift to the URC Play-Offs, where the league’s best sides will contest for the ultimate prize: to be crowned 2025 champions.

While the four home Quarter-Finalists are best placed to reach the decider, history may yet deliver a twist, yet no team ranked No. 1 has ever lifted the URC trophy. In past seasons, it was fourth-placed Glasgow (2024), fifth-placed Munster (2023), and second-placed DHL Stormers (2022) who emerged as champions.
