The Vodacom Bulls will start their defence of the u/21 Championship against the Leopards at home on 20 August 2022. The competition will be played over a single round with the two top sides after the completion of the league matches to play in the final on 15 October 2022.
Apart from the Vodacom Bulls who have beaten the Xerox Lions 48-33 in the final in 2020, the other teams in the competition is DHL Western Province, Toyota Cheetahs, Eastern Province, Leopards and Cell C Sharks.
The U21 Shield will be contested by Boland, Border, Griffons, Griquas, Limpopo, Pumas and Valke with the fixtures still to be released.
