The Vodacom Bulls Director of Rugby Jake White was full of praise for his charges that have secured 18-12 win over Cardiff on Friday, their second win on tour, their third in four matches. The Bulls ended the weekend at the top of the United Rugby Championship table.
White said winning away from home remains a real challenge in the URC.
“Zebre, a team people think you just turn up, get your point and get out of Parma, has beaten the Sharks on Friday."
“Our tour is not over yet, we have a tough match against Edinburgh next week with all their Scottish internationals."
“However, we are very happy to have won two in a row and take a bit of momentum into the next round.”
White said that self-belief is the one big value they got out of the game against Cardiff.
“Right up to the very last line-out, we could still have lost that game. You need these moments that you put in your memory bank and the confidence you get out of that.
“Next time you are in the same situation, hopefully, you get the same result. It is not just the win, but the way we stuck at it at the end there, despite the vocal crowd.”
