The second match in today's Carling Currie Cup competition was played in Kimberley where Windhoek Draught Griquas just could not wrestle a win from the Cell C Sharks. The Cell C Sharks won 13-06 in a tense physical match.
The first 30 minutes were a very even affair, however, the Griquas started to take control during the last ten minutes, finishing the first half on the tryline of the Sharks. The halftime score of 10-06 with the Sharks in the lead, was a fair reflection of the on the field action.
The arm wrestle continued during the second half with both teams waiting for their opponents to make a mistake rather than taking some chances. The Griquas maybe guilty of losing the game due critical errors made just before scoring on a few occations.
