The Emirates Lions confirmed that Willem Alberts was in close contact with a Covid-19 case and will therefore go into quarantine. Although Alberts was tested on Monday and cleared he will be replaced by Ruben Schoeman in the starting line-up.

Ivan van Rooyen, head coach of the Emirates Lions announced his squad on Thursday with only one change (excluding Alberts) for their match against the DHL Western Province in the second round of the Vodacom Super Rugby Unlocked series at Newlands on Saturday @ 19h00.
