Toyota Cheetahs announced their squad to play against the Pumas in their second Carling Currie Cup match of the season on Friday afternoon in Toyota Stadium, Bloemfontein.
Five players will make their debut for the Cheetahs. The team that lost to the Griquas 10-31 two weeks ago shows several changes in the starting line-up.
At the back, Lesley Botha and Siya Masuku are a brand new centre pairing while Cohen Jasper replaces Tian Meyer at wing. Reinhardt Fortuin is replaced by Brandon Thompson at flyhalf in the fourth change at the back. Upfront Aidon Davids replaces Gideon van Wyk at eight, while Jeandre Rudolph returns in the place of jean Droste at #6. Jean Droste replaces Victor Sekete at lock while Hencus van Wyk, Marnus van der Merwe and Aluluthu Tshakweni is the new front row.
Players not available: The following players are not eligible for team selection due to injury: Oupa Mohoje (calf), Chris Smit (calf), Craig Barry (hamstring), Andisa Ntsila (hamstring), Marcell Muller (hamstring), Tian Meyer (hamstring), George Cronje (knee).
