The Varsity Shield is set to start on Monday with three matches. WSU will play against DUT Rhinos @ 15h00, Rhodes will play against UKZN @ 17h00 and CPUT will play against UFH @ 19h00. All matches will be played at Loftus Versveld.
Several schools will be represented during the Varsity Cup. 179 Schools will be represented by the group of 253 players that were included in the 7 teams bigger groups. Only 30 players per team are allowed in the "Bio Bubble" while the rest of the group will be standing by if needed.
The top 16 schools will be represented by 29% or 73 players.
