After the dust has settled on one of the most exciting and best-organised schoolboy rugby festivals I have ever had the privilege to attend, only one question needs to be answered. Who is your team for the festival?
Before I answer THAT question I would like all the players, mommies, daddies, oumas, oupas, gardeners and petrol attendants to take note. None of these keyboard warriors that select these "teams" is actually involved in the selection of any teams nor have they ever been.
If you are included in a team of the tournament it does not guarantee your selection in any provincial or national schoolboy rugby team nor does it guarantee your position in the Springbok team five years from now. And the same goes for those that will see their names below nothing is guaranteed.
A lot of hard work and dedication will be demanded from you before you will be trusted to wear your Unions' or Springbok u/18 blazer. A lot of hard work and dedication.
