The Xerox Lions travel to Pretoria to meet the Vodacom Bulls in the first Carling Currie Cup semi-final @ 14h00. The Bulls finished the league stage of the Carling Currie Cup as the top team on the standings to book a valuable home semi-final, and they should be the favourite to not only win the semi-final but also the final.

However, we believe that the Xerox Lions could advance to the finals if they do the basics right. The Xerox Lions tactics were found wanting during the last games of the Currie Cup and will need to be sorted out. The Lions needs dominance in the front row, match the Bulls' loose trio and Elton Jantjies' kicking will be of vital importance and could be the difference between winning or losing.
