There were not many surprises this weekend but unfortunately, we did not get to see the players from the Pumas and Lions due to positive Covid-19 test.
Bart and I agree we do not agree with with the "Man of the Match" award to Frans Malherbe in the Stormers vs Cheetahs match. Bart is adamant that we have a lack of quality hookers in the Super Rugby Unlocked championship. The locks also did not impress and we stick with last week's pair.
The backline also did not change much and I am disgusted with Elton Jantjies comments in newspapers this weekend.
The young player that impressed us a lot is the wing for Griquas, Eduan Keyter. He made his Currie Cup debut for Griquas in July 2019, coming on as a replacement in their opening match of the 2019 season against the Sharks. His work rate in the match against the Sharks was unbelievable. Every time he touched the ball he created panic in the Sharks defensive structures.
