Vodacom Bulls u/19 will host the Toyota Cheetahs u/19s today at Loftus Versveld at 13h00 in a make-or-break match.
There is no final to be played in the u/19 SARU Cup and one slip-up could cost you the title. The Vodacom Bulls u/19s had a dominant win against DHL Western Province (24-03) while the Toyota Cheetahs u/19s struggled in a windy Durban to go down 15-21 against the Cell C Sharks u/19s.
The Vodacom Bulls u/19s must be the overwhelming favourites, however, Grey College's Head of Rugby Bobby Joubert, is the coach of the boys from Bloemfontein and I am sure had a good look at the Vodacom Bulls u/19s and their shortcomings on the field.
This match could become very interesting with the Toyota Cheetahs u/19s a somewhat unknown factor as the windy conditions in Durban made it extremely difficult for them.
Vodacom Bulls u/19s coaching staff made only two changes to the starting line-up.
In the only change at the back, Munashe Dukuswa is replaced by P Rossouw at the outside centre. Ghudian van Reenen is replaced by Gcino Mdletshe at the side of the scum. Mdletshe is promoted from the bench.
Apart from the two changes in the starting line-up five changes were made to the bench.
Toyota Cheetahs u/19 Head Coach, Bobby Joubert announced his team for their trip to Pretoria with five changes to his starting line-up. Matt Golden replaces Michael Annies at fullback while Khanyisa Hlengwa comes in at the wing as the second change at the back.
On the side of the scrum, Logan Fortuin and Dian van der Walt are promoted from the bench. In the front row, Frankie Dos Reis is moved from loosehead to hooker while Johan Durr moves from tighthead to loosehead. Cassie Botes is promoted from the bench to complete the re-shuffled front row.
