We could not confirm the rumour that the Vodacom Bulls will play the South African A team on Saturday in Cape Town, however, it was confirmed that the Carling Currie Cup game between the Vodacom Bulls and Tafel Lager Griquas which was scheduled for Saturday was cancelled.
The initial proposal by SARU's director of rugby, Rassie Erasmus was to cancel the match between DHL Stormers and B&I Lions in order to fit in another B&I Lions and SA "A" match. This idea was declined by the management of the BB&I Lions almost immediately.
The time, venue and format of the fixture between Vodacom Bulls and SA"A" could not be confirmed as of yet.
