The Vodacom Bulls have confirmed their touring squad for their four-week-long European leg of the 2023/24 Vodacom United Rugby Championship campaign.
The Vodacom Bulls will first stop in Ulster (18h00) for a round 2 clash at the Kingspan Stadium, then travel to Italy for a round 3 tie against Zebre Parma (15h00) on Saturday, November 4. Jake White’s herd will then travel to Cardiff Rugby on Friday, November 10 for a 21h35 kick-off in round 4 at the Cardiff Arms Park.
The side will then wrap up their time in the North with a round 5 outing against Edinburgh (21h35) at the Scottish Gas Murrayfield Stadium on Friday, 17 November.
Asked about his side’s four-week-long trip to the North, Director of Rugby Jake White said: “We have had experience, this being our third season now in this competition. Also, our recruitments have experience of playing in Europe and that will help us,”
“We also will have to adapt to the quick 4G pitches because three of our games will be played on those types of surfaces, so weather is not the only change we will have to contend with. Hopefully, today's (Sunday) performance will put us in good stand in Europe.”
