The Bulls Daisies are all geared up to square against fierce rivals and second-placed Sanlam Boland Dames in round five of the 2024 Women’s Premier Division, to be played on Saturday 11 May.
The two sides - separated by a points difference - will go head-to-head at Loftus Versfeld Stadium with kick-off set for 10:45 (SA Time).
Head coach, Hayden Groepes has made five changes to the matchday 23, of which 3 are positional as his herd looks to add more points to their tally. A victory on Saturday would see a gap opening up between 1 and 2 for the first time this season and the defending champions are planning to do exactly that.
The front row sees a change with Xolelwa Diliza moving into the hooker role flanked by Doreen Mkhabela at loose-head and Rachelle du Plessis at tight-head. Ziyanda Ngohlekana and Busisiwe Crafford will combine at lock with Glenda Baloi (blind side), Faith Tshauke (open side) and skipper, Sophy Mashapa at eight.
The halfback combination remains unchanged as Mahlatse Lucky Nkhumishe (scrumhalf) and Unam Tose (flyhalf) link the forwards to the backline.
Chantel Dikgale will run on the left wing with Patience Mokone on the right. Naima Hlatshwayo and Unathi Mali will pair up at inside and outside centre respectively with Zintle Nonkosana at fullback.
The impact squad sees Karabo Lebotsa, Hermoine Makgoke, Pearl Mhelembe, Ivanche Gerritsen, Oratile Mabuza, Lesego Mdhluli, Marlize de Bruin and Relebohile Motaung on standby to do duty.
