Ulster Rugby secured their 36-12 win over the Ospreys already at the halftime break, scoring their bonus point try after only thirty-one minutes of play in the first half.
Ulster's third win of their season bumped them up to fourth place on the URC log at the end of the action on Friday.
James McCormick and Jacob Stockdale scored twice each for the home side while the hard-working Marcus Rea also added his name to the score sheet.
The game as a contest was over at the halftime break with Ulster led 29-07 and securing their try bonus point.
Ulster opened the scoring against the considerably weakened Ospreys after just four minutes of play when James McCormick scored off the back of a line-out maul.
Thereafter tries by Jacob Stockdale, a penalty try and a try by Marcus Rea extended Ulster's lead to 24-00. The Ospreys managed to hit back with their first dangerous attack of the night. However, the Ospreys finally got things moving and from a penalty, most of their backs piled into a maul for Sam Parry to score to go into the second half trailing 24-07.
A second try by James McCormick was scored after ten minutes of play in the second half. Five minutes later Ulster's Harry Sheridan was yellow carded which allowed the Ospreys to get their hands on quality attacking ball which eventually led to winger Keelan Giles scoring in the left corner to cut Ulster's lead to 29-12.
After 24 minutes of play in the second half, Jacob Stockdale scored his second after a great attack from Ulster and a pass from fullback Mike Lowry sent Jacob Stockdale on his way. However, the Ireland winger had to work hard to make the corner to extend Ulster's lead to 36-12, which was also the final score.
