The United Rugby Championship returns this weekend with two big local derbies set to draw record-breaking crowds to Johannesburg and Durban.
The Vodacom Bulls are currently leading the South African onslaught and are placed 4th on the URC Table. They will travel to Emirates Airline Park on Saturday at 15:00 (SA Time) to face the Emirates Lions who are placed 10th, only 2 log points behind Edinburgh who is currently placed 6th.
The Vodacom Bulls did beat the Emirates Lions 30-28 a few weeks ago with a late charge by the Emirates Lions in vain as a failed penalty conversion by the Emirates Lions saving the day for the Vodacom Bulls.
However, after a break of just over two weeks, both teams will target a win to build momentum, before they once again break for two weeks.
Both teams will welcome back several players, however, the Vodacom Bulls will welcome back several World Cup heroes to their line-up which should give them an edge this weekend.
The Hollywoodbets Sharks will look to improve on their loss by a point in Cape Town a few weeks back when they host the Stormers on Saturday at 17:15 (SA Time).
The DHL Stormers are currently placed 7th on the URC Table while the Hollywoodbets Sharks are placed last with just only one win in nine rounds of URC action.
The DHL will be without several of their World Cup heroes, with their depth in the backline especially affected. However, the injured Frans Malherbe should make his return for the visitors while the Hollywoodbets Sharks look likely to welcome back Eben Etzebeth, Vincent Koch and Bongi Mbonambi.
