The Glasgow Warriors claimed a 28-17 bonus point win over DHL Stormers exploiting the lack of commitment from the stars of the host.
The match started at a frantic pace, which ultimately led to both teams making several unforced errors and spilling several try-scoring opportunities.
Eventually, a great offload by Warick Gelant was held onto by Manie Libbok, who strolled over the Warriors' tryline for the first points of the match after thirty-two minutes of play in the first half.
Four minutes later, a penalty conceded by yellow-carded Manie Libbok was taken immediate advantage of by Leinster when hooker Johnny Matthews scored off the back of a five-meter lineout-maul to level the scores at 07-07, which was also the halftime score.
The Warriors started to attack from the kickoff in the second half. Captain Sione Tuipulotu controlled a grubber by winger Sebastian Cancelliere, and thanks to nobody of the Stormers covering at the back, controlled the bounce to score the Warriors' second try of the match to lead 14-07 after seven minutes of play in the second half.
The Stormers set up camp in the red zone of the visitors for several minutes. Following several penalties conceded by the Warriors, the Stormers eventually spread the ball wide to captain Dan du Plessis, who evaded two defenders to level the scores.
Manie Libbok converted a penalty after twenty-four minutes of play, to which the Warriors replied almost immediately when winger Kyle Rowe fell on his own grubber to score the Warriors' third try and retake the lead 21-17 and fifteen minutes still to play in the second half.
Four minutes later Henco Venter burst through several tackles to add his name to the Warriors' score sheet and claimed their bonus point for four tries scored. With ten minutes to play the Warriors led 28-17, which was also the final score.
