URC – DHL Stormers Looking Forward To The Challenge Munster Will Bring

DHL Stormers assistant coach Dawie Snyman said that the Stormers are not living in the past and are looking forward to the challenge Munster will bring on Saturday. The Stormers are still looking for their first win against Munster.

"Munster will have confidence playing here in Cape Town because they have performed here really well. And it's a nice challenge for us," Snyman said.

"They had a big game this weekend against Leinster. So we know what we're up against. So a big game for us at home."

"I don't think we live in the past anymore. What happened, happened and we're just focusing on Saturday."

"If you can just look back at it, what makes Munster such a tough side to beat after beating all the other Irish teams but not getting that scalp yet?"

"They're a very efficient side. They've got some world-class players in a lot of positions. Good set-piece, good running game, good defence. It is a tough team to break down."

"I think they've got ideas on how they can break us down. It's going to be a nice challenge. You want to be part of those big games."

Snyman said that the Stormers will not be changing a lot for Munster despite the mixed results on tour.

“We won’t change a lot. We just want to execute better, which we didn’t do on tour.

"We will stick to our guns and we're going to do what we do. We are creating opportunities. And it's the third game of the season, so it's still early days. So we'll just keep building on those ones."

"Getting guys like Leolin Zas space and one-on-one opportunities. It’s about getting the balance right when to pull the trigger, keep the ball alive and when to get go-forward is important."
