Round 10 of the BKT United Rugby Championship delivered some outstanding individual performances. Here, we take a look at the best players by position from the weekend’s matches, with each side afforded a maximum of four representatives in the final XV.
15. Josh McKay (Glasgow Warriors)
Scored a pair of tries - the first after just 30 seconds - in Glasgow's 40-7 victory over Dragons and his seven defenders beaten and 140 metres gained led the Warriors.
14. Facundo Cordero (Glasgow Warriors)
Went over for one of Glasgow's six tries and led his side with 10 successful carries and five clean breaks in an impressive debut.
13. Stafford McDowall (Glasgow Warriors)
Scored two tries for the Warriors as they kept themselves in second place in the table with a dominant victory.
12. Keiran Williams (Ospreys)
Went over for Ospreys' only try in the win over Ulster and his three defenders beaten and six successful carries led his team.
11. Shane Daly (Munster)
Led Munster with 94 metres gained and four clean breaks as they put Scarlets to the sword in Llanelli.
10. Dan Edwards (Ospreys)
Scored the match-winning drop-goal in a player-of-the-match performance, while also sending over three penalties and a conversion and his 78 metres gained led the Ospreys.
9. Embrose Papier (Vodacom Bulls)
Back-to-back appearances in the Fantasy Team of the Week for the Bulls scrum-half who earned the man-of-the-match award against the Emirates Lions with 47 metres gained, two offloads and four defenders beaten.
8. Gavin Coombes (Munster)
Scored two of Munster's six tries at Scarlets, while leading the Irish province with 11 successful carries and 16 tackles made.
7. Evan Roos (DHL Stormers)
Topped the Stormers charts with five defenders beaten as his side battled hard for victory in Durban against the Hollywoodbets Sharks.
6. Shamus Hurley-Langton (Connacht)
Wins a place in the Team of the Week for the second time this season as he led Connacht with a 100 per cent tackle rate in making 13 at Cardiff.
5. Jason Jenkins (Leinster)
Another player appeared for the second time this season as he went in for a try against Benetton and led Leinster with nine tackles made.
4. Thomas Ahern (Munster)
Crossed for a try in Munster's big win at Scarlets and appears in the Team of the Week for a third time - in three different positions.
3. Neethling Fouche (DHL Stormers)
Man of the match as the Stormers wore down the Sharks as he proved to be a dominant figure for his team, excelling in the scrums and also showing up well around the pitch.
2. Joseph Dweba (DHL Stormers)
The Stormers hooker scored his side's second try against the Sharks and was a pivotal figure in the loose.
1. Boan Venter (Edinburgh)
Went over for a vital try as Edinburgh left it late to earn victory against Zebre Parma.
