URC – Dragons RFC Edge Ospreys For First Time In A Decade

 

Dragons RFC stunned Ospreys with a 23-21 win with a sensational late try. Dragons RFC beat the Ospreys for the first time in a decade.

Ospreys led 21-13 with five minutes remaining before the Men of Gwent battled back with Yendle's try and a conversion from Lloyd Evans sparking wild celebrations from a partisan crowd.

It completed a 13-point haul for Evans in his first competitive game since his arrival from Gloucester, while flanker Harrison Keddie also crossed for the home side.

Ospreys duo Keiran Williams and Ryan Conbeer scored tries while fly-half Dan Edwards added 11 points.

Trailing by eight points with under ten minutes to go, the Dragons cut the lead through the boot of Lloyd Evans before a sustained three-minute attack deep into injury time saw Luke Yendle power over to spark elation.
