The annual Senior Rugby and Hockey Festival is one of the regular fixtures on the school sporting calendar and always brings much hype and excitement to Graaff-Reinet. This year will be the 30th annual festival that Union High School will host. With teams from across the country coming to participate in this annual event allowing local teams to showcase their talent against some top rugby schools.
The participation of Grey College from Bloemfontein since last year has seen interest in the festival increase to that of the more famous Easter Festivals across the country.
This year games will take place on the 1st and 3rd of April 2017.
