Union Bordeaux-Bègles scored eleven tries on their way to a 69-17 win over Exeter Chiefs in a Round Three match of the 2024/25 Investec Champions Cup.
Jumping on a loose ball in his own 22, Paul Brown-Bampoe sprinted the length of the pitch for a score against the run of play for Exeter Chiefs after seven minutes of play in the first half.
But Bordeaux hit straight back through Maxime Lucu and Damian Penaud. Shortly thereafter, Damian Penaud cut in off his wing and set up Lucu for their third.
And the bonus point was wrapped up before half time as Louis Bielle-Biarrey, having come on for injured Romain Buros, found a way over and was followed by Maxime Lamothe on the stroke of half time to make it 31-5.
Damian Penaud scored three of Union Bordeaux-Bègles' 11 tries to comfortably see off Exeter Chiefs.
Cyril Cazeaux, Louis Bielle-Biarrey, Matthieu Jalibert and Yann Lesgourgues crossed for the French in the second half as they stepped up a gear.
Exeter Chiefs managed a third try through Ben Hammersley before Damian Penaud completed his hat-trick for UBB in style to make it 69-17.
