The last match of Round 4 of the 2021 Varsity Cup will be between UP Tuks and Maties @ Loftus Versveld. The kick-off time is 19h00.
UP Tuks are still unbeaten after wins over Wits (25-48), UJ (19-47) and NWU Eagles (33-5). TUKS's recipe for winning is simple, the know how to win. Their pack of forwards is definately a weak point but the way their loosies is looking after their ball the foundation of their success. A "balanced" side which must be my favourite to be crowned as champions. "At this stage."
Maties are currently fourth on the log with only one loss during the 2021 tournament. They lost to the Ikeys (26-20) and scored wins against UWC (43-21) and Wits (19-13). As with TUKS a well-balanced side with two or three game-breakers that can win a game in a second.
This should have been the match that determined the 2021 Varsity Cup Championship. However, .............. To pick a winner is impossible but with TUKS being the crowd's favourite in Pretoria .......................
