Toyota Cheetahs Name Team To Travel To Durban

 

The Toyota Cheetahs are travelling to Durban to face the Cell Sharks on Wednesday, 23 March at 17:45 in a Carling Currie Cup match.  

Head coach Hawies Fourie made five changes to the team that won 24-17 against the DHL Western Province to remain the only unbeaten team in the 2022 Carling Currie Cup.

Clayton Blommetjies is making his return to the starting line-up at fullback while David Brits are Francois Steyn's new partner at centre. Cohen Jasper moves from fullback to wing in the place of Malcolm Jaer.

Three changes were made upfront by Fourie. Andisa Ntsila replaces Jeandré Rudolph at the side of the scrum while  Aidon Davids at lock and Marne Coetzee at tighthead complete the changes.

The following players are not eligible for team selection due to injury: George Cronjè (knee), Branden de Kock (knee), Rynier Bernardo (shoulder), Duncan Saal (bicep), Enver Brandt (groin), Rosko Specman (concussion), Malcolm Jaer (ankle).
