Cheetahs coach Hawies Fourie announced his squad to play in a warm-up game against the Griquas on Friday 02 October in Bloemfontein. The Cheetahs won the first warmup game with 40-7 against the Griquas in Kimberley last weekend.
In preparation for the upcoming local competitions, the SuperRugby Unlocked and the Currie Cup which is expected to kick-off on 10 October, the Toyota Cheetahs and Griquas will be facing each other in a second warm-up match at Bloemfontein.
The match will be starting at 11:00 and due to Covid-19 regulations, no supporters will be allowed at the stadium.
The Cheetahs made six changes to their starting lineup that have beaten the Griquas the week before in Kimberley. Clayton Blommetjies, Malcolm Jaer, Francois Steyn, Rosco Specman, Junior Pokomela and Luan de Bruin are involved in Cape Town at the Castle Lager Springbok Showdown,
