The Toyota Cheetahs reported back for training on Monday, 06 January 2023, as they prepare for the upcoming Currie Cup Series.
The Cheetahs will play friendly with the Griffons in Bloemfontein next week Tuesday as their first game ahead of their preparations. They will then face Cell c sharks on Monday, 20 February 2023, in Bloemfontein.
Players like Andisa Ntsila, Gideon van der Merwe, and Oupa Mohoje have returned to training with the team since they were sidelined because of their respective injuries.
The Toyota Cheetahs start the Currie Cup Series on March 11, against Griquas in Kimberley. They will then play with Griffons in Welkom on March 18 and then their first home game against the Bulls on March 25.
The Toyota Cheetahs will face RC Toulon in the EPCR Challenge on 01 April 2023 at Stade Félix Mayol as well as the Pumas in Bloemfontein in the 2023 Currie Cup.
