Fullback Devon Williams who deservedly won the Man of the Match award in the Vodacom Bulls’ Champions Cup win against Bristol Bears a week ago, said that he wants to make a permanent move to Loftos Versveld.
Williams who is currently on loan from the Pumas has proven him a star in the Vodacom Bulls' star studded backline since he arrived in Pretoria in August 2023.
Despite the strong competition at the Vodacom Bulls he is eagerly awaiting the current negotiations between to Vodacom Bulls and Pumas regarding his transfer.
“It has been a step up. I’ve learnt a lot. It’s a different environment and you just have to adapt with the travelling and everything.”
“I don’t know what the future holds, but it is definitely where I would like to end off my career.”
“We knew they had a good kicking game, so my team gave me the opportunity to express myself," Williams said regarding his man-of-the-match performance against the Bears.
“For any player to get player of the match, it is very nice. A lot of my teammates made it possible to just go out and express myself. It’s a great feeling, but it is also about how I back it up.”
