The Week Ending 23 April In The Free State

In the Free State, the eyes will be on the fixture between Grey College 1stXV and Louis Botha HTS. With Louis Botha not exactly setting the world on fire in the early parts of the 2017 everybody's attention will rather be on the quality of the Grey College's play. Grey College for the past two years avoid the attention of the Easter Holidays premier festivals and is still have not been tested apart from their first match against Waterkloof, which in itself can not be called a test. The Cherries faces Sentraal who itself should not pose a serious threat to the seccies of Grey College.

The Griffons League also gets away with four matches. Hentie Cilliers should not provide real resistance against Witteberg but their victory against Pretoria Tuine at the Mauritz Hansen Week do indicate that they are not as bad as their record suggests. Witteberg, on the other hand, had a good start to the season with a successful tour in the Cape.

Kroonstad AHS should be victorious against Goudveld, with Welkom Gim also for a win. Voortrekker Bethlehem will also look to continue their winning ways.
