Springbok wing Sbu Nkosi is back in the Cell C Sharks’ starting team as one of several changes for Saturday’s Vodacom Super Rugby clash with the Jaguares. The Durban encounter kicks off at 15h05.

The Sharks have one more log point than the Jaguares and are currently lying 2nd on the log. The Sharks won four of their five matches while the Jaguares won three of their four matches.

The Cell C Sharks have returned home to Jonsson Kings Park brimming with confidence following three good victories on the road in New Zealand and Australia. Meanwhile, the Jaguares will feel confident of a good performance in Durban following their success over the Vodacom Bulls last weekend in Pretoria.

Last week, Cell C Sharks head coach Sean Everitt rested flankers James Venter and Tyler Paul, and both have been restored to the starting line-up alongside Nkosi, who has regained fitness following his injury layoff.  The return of the Springbok wing means a shift to the bench for Madosh Tambwe, who has performed admirably in his absence.

The Jaguares made four changes to their starting line-up. Joaquin Tuculet replaces Santiago Carreras at fullback with Santiago moving to wing in place of Sebastian Cancelliere who moves to the bank. Three changes upfront see Marcos Kremer replacing Thomas Lezana at 7 with Lezana moving to 6 in place of Francisco Gorissen. Marcos Kremer is replaced Matias Alemanno at lock. Mayco Vivas comes in at loosehead and replaces Nahuel Tetaz Chaparro who moves to the bench.

Captain Lukhanyo Am said after the game against the Reds .“It was a great win, a great effort from the boys and credit to the forwards for giving us the front-foot ball that we were looking for,”

“Now we’re looking forward to playing at The Tank, the Jaguares will be tough but we’ll go back home, prepare as well as possible to be sharp on Saturday.”
