In KwaZulu Natal not a lot of schools are competing for the crown of the region and it seems that Glenwood has the title in a bag already. Most of the schools in KZN region season ends the end of June with only Glenwood and Maritzburg College playing games until the end of August.
DHS had an easy game at Riverside where they met Clifton who's only loss this season was against Hilton on the 22nd of March. Clifton was only trailing 14-29 at the end of the first half but the flood gates opened during the second half and DHS eventually winning 67-14. DHS will take a lot of confidence out of this match as their last four matches this season is against the top dogs in KZN. Glenwood certainly look the part to be crowned king of KZN and the other school's will fight it out for the second place.
Glenwood, who's unbeaten record was shattered by Paarl Boishaai at the Wildeklwer Festival showed that they put that loss behind them and really dismantled a game Kearsney side. The Green Machine showed their intentions from early on and was leading 28-0 at half time with Kearsney putting their first points on the board when trailing 57-0 late in the match.
In other matches Westville send a struggling Jeppe home with yet another loss beating them 38-24 after an excellent second half and Hilton won against Michaelhouse 38-21 confirming that their building process is working.
