Tafel Lager Griquas Change Nine For Emirates Lions

The Griquas coach Scott Mathie has named the team for the Super Rugby Unlocked round three opener against the Emirates Lions on Friday evening 19h00 @ Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg. 

Three players' contracts came to an end in Kimberley. Anthony  Volmink has joined the Sharks, while Victor Sekekete and Ian Groenewald have both joined the Cheetahs. Bandisa Ndlovu, CJ Velleman and Maxsixole Banda are the new faces in Kimberley.

Only six players was retained in the starting line-up who lost 21-27 at home to the Pumas two weeks ago. The centres Harlon Klaasen and Andre Swartz, the halfbacks George Whitehead and Zak Burger, Stefan Willemse (flank) and HJ Luus (hooker) are the surviving players while James Verity-Amm moves from wing to fullback and Carl Els from flank to No.8.
