Student protests linked to the housing crisis at universities halted the opening 2025 Varsity Cup match between the FNB University of Cape Town Tigers and FNB North-West University Eagles.
The match was scheduled for a 16:45 (SA Time) kickoff in Cape Town. The match will now be played at 11:00 on Tuesday at an undisclosed venue behind closed doors and will be closed to the public.
