Springboks’ Roadmap To Rugby World Cup 2023 Is Taking Shape

 

The Springboks' roadmap to the defence of their world title which kicks off on 8 September in France, is starting to take shape.

Argentina’s rugby union, UAR, announced that the Springboks will face the Pumas on 5 August at the Velez Sarsfield Stadium in a fixture that is not part of a reduced 2023 Rugby Championship.

This test will not form part of the 2023 Rugby Championship and is part of the two Nations World Cup preparations. The Springboks and Argentina will face each other in South Africa as part of the Rugby Championship a week before both travel to Argentina for the announced test in Argentina.

Sanzaar is yet to announce the fixtures of the 2023 Rugby Championship, which will be shortened to six matches due to the World Cup that kicks off on 8 September.

17 September 2023 - RWC 2023 - Sprigboks vs Romania - Bordeaux
