Springboks Maul All Blacks At Twickenham With Record Winning Margin

The Springboks made a brilliant start against the All Blacks at Twickenham to lead 14-00 at the halftime break. However, they were not done yet and continued their dominance, especially up front, to win with a record winning margin, beating the All Blacks 35-07.

Despite the Springboks' dominance and setting up camp in a thirteen-man All Blacks' red zone the Springboks could only score their first points after eighteen minutes of play. An intercept try with five minutes to go, increased the Springboks lead to 14-00 which was also the halftime score.

The Springboks started like a house on fire, forcing several penalties as they pinned the All Blacks in their red zone. Despite the Springboks bumbling several scoring opportunities they continued to apply pressure that led to a yellow card to Scott Barrett following thirteen minutes of play.

A second yellow card shown to the All Blacks, Sam Cane, reduced the All Blacks to thirteen players, however, their brilliant defence kept the Springboks from scoring for the first fifteen minutes of the match.

Captain Siya Kolisi eventually broke down the All Blacks' defence to score a try under the sticks to open the scoring for the Springboks after eighteen minutes of play in the first half to lead 07-00.

The All Blacks started to claw their way back into the game as their yellow-carded players returned to the field. However, the Springboks absorbed the initial pressure and took control of the match again. Kurt-Lee Arendse intercepted a loose pass from the All Blacks to score the Springboks' second try and increased their lead to 14-00 with five minutes to play in the first half.

With two minutes to play in the first half, Scott Barrett was yellow carded for the second time, which resulted in an automatic red card, reducing the All Blacks to fourteen players for the remainder of the match.

Despite the All Blacks launching wave after wave of attacks the Springboks led 14-00 going into the second half against a fourteen-man All Blacks.

Malcolm Marx scored the Springboks' third try after just one minute of play in the first half. Siya Kolisi and Marx combined and fooled the All Blacks' defence as they varied their lineout attack, attacking around the front of the lineout to extend the Springboks lead to 21-00.

Pieter-Steph du Toit was yellow carded after ten minutes of play in the second half, following a lazy arm to the face of an All-Black. However, this did not stop the dominance of the Springboks and Bongi Mbonambi scored the Springboks' fourth try from the back of a 5m lineout ball.

The dominance of the Springboks' forward continued as the match continued when another variation in the Springboks' lineout play, gave Kwagga Smith the space to score their fifth try of the match and increased their lead to 35-00 with ten minutes to play in the second half. The

The All Blacks attacked from the kickoff when Cam Roigard picked up a ball behind a loose scrum in the Springboks' half, to score the All Blacks' first try of the match to reduce the Springboks' lead to 35-07, which was also the final score.
