All Blacks selectors Ian Foster, Jason Ryan and Joe Schmidt have named the team to play South Africa at Twickenham on Friday.
A packed ground of nearly 82,000 is fans set to watch the first meeting between the All Blacks and South Africa at Twickenham since the 2015 Rugby World Cup semi-final.
Coach Ian Foster said when announcing his side for Friday, "The gap between the last Test and the France game is too big for us to use this game as a cotton wool exercise. We've got two or three players we're looking after from an injury perspective but it's a great Test two weeks before a World Cup."
“This is our final game before the Rugby World Cup and this test is critical in our preparation,” said head coach Ian Foster. “With just two weeks to go, it’s an important opportunity to get us battle-ready for the start of the tournament.
"The only way to go into this is full throttle. If you go in half-hearted and worrying about the consequences those things are almost guaranteed to happen. The same thing is going to happen in the World Cup. You don't want injuries in any game. This is ideal for us. It's the sort of build-up we need to make sure we keep climbing our performance levels."
“These games are always intense and physically challenging, and I’m sure this one will be no different.”
