Ten heroic hookers have been nominated to be included in the Investec Champions Cup and EPCR Challenge Cup 30 Year Dream 15.
We start with Saracens stalwart Jamie George. Three-time winner of the Champions Cup, the English hooker is an undoubted legend of the position.
Joining him on three titles in this competition is William Servat who, after spending over a decade at Stade Toulousain, won the Champions Cup in 2002, 2005 and 2010.
Having also made his name in France, Guilhem Guirado makes the shortlist thanks to his two club rugby trophies - one Champions Cup with RC Toulon before claiming the EPCR Challenge Cup with Montpellier Hérault Rugby.
Dimitri Szarzewski also makes the list thanks to his memorable spells in France, most notably with Stade Français Paris and Racing 92.
Making their names in another strong rugby nation, the Irish clubs have also had their fair share of heroic hookers.
Leinster legend Sean Cronin makes our list having won two Champions Cups (2012 and 2018) as well as a Challenge Cup with the side in 2013.
Another one who made a significant impact at the Irish giants was Richardt Strauss. The Leinster icon turned Ireland international helped his side to two Champions Cup titles during his career.
Also in Ireland, Jerry Flannery won two Champions Cup trophies with Munster in 2006 and 2008 so deserves his place on our list, while fellow ex-Munsterman Keith Wood also makes the top 10. Thanks to his contributions to Munster's Champions Cup final run in 2000 as well as winning the Challenge Cup with Harlequins in 2001, he helped them become the first English club to do so.
Also in England, Schalk Brits won two Champions Cup titles in 2016 and 2017 during his memorable stint at Saracens so gets into the final 10.
To complete a spectacular list of historic talent, Raphael Ibanez is our final hooker having had memorable runs out at Saracens and Wasps, winning the Champions Cup in 2007 with the latter.
