Springbok Women’s Sevens Going Down To Spain In Their Final Match

The Springboks Women's Sevens team could not win one match at the HSBC Cape Town Sevens after losing to Spain 17-14 in their last match of the season.

Rights Mkhari forced her way over Spain's tryline to score the Springbok Women's first try of the match after just three minutes of play. Spain attacked from the kick-off to reply with an Eva Aguirre Diaz try to level the scores at 07-07, which was also the halftime score.

A missed tackle by Spain allowed Rights Mkhari to score her second try with a great run down the touchline. Two tries during the last two minutes in the match by Spain gave Spain a 17-14 win and left the Springbok Women's Sevens team without a win at the Cape Town Sevens.
