We are set for yet another exciting weekend of Carling Currie Cup fixtures with the big battle in Durban that may result in a "surprise".
The first game is in Cape Town on Friday evening @ 19h00 when DHL Western Province will host the giant-slaying Phakisa Pumas. Our advice to DHL Western Province is to stick with the changes they made against the Lions and tactically the players need to grow up in decision making. The Pumas must continue what they are doing with Jimmy the head coach our star of the Pumas.
Our pick for the weekend is Western Province and Lions with a split vote for the game in Durban
The Cheetahs needs to jack up their game in the loose as they lost several attacking ball on the ground. We feel that the Xerox Lions is on the right track with the return of first-choice making it difficult for the coaches to drop their exciting youngsters. The Lions our favourite.
The final game of the weekend is the Sharks who host the Bulls in Durban. The only advice to Jake is "doen so voort" as the Bulls are at the top of their game. However, the Bulls are vulnerable in the front row and if I was the coach of the Sharks that is the area which I will target. Bart pick the Bulls for a win while I back the Sharks for the upset of the season.
