Northampton Saints deservedly secures a 38-08 win over Castres Olympique in their round 1 2024/2025 Investec Champions Cup fixture at Franklin's Gardens.

It did not take long for Northampton Saints to open the scoring at home to Castres Olympique with Fraser Dingwall there to touch down after just three minutes.

They continued to add to their tally and the French side was unable to match the Saints’ might. Saints then saw out the rest of the first half in the driving seat, heading into the dressing rooms 14-03 up.

After not messing around in the first forty, and deservedly leading the French side 14-3, the Saints did not hold off in the second period.

Juarno Augustus was the first to touch down for the hosts in 43 minutes before Curtis Langdon joined the festivities six minutes later.

Augustus was then on hand to seal his double on 62 minutes before teammate Henry Pollock made sure to put even more distance between the two sides in the 74th minute.
