Several Players Re-Commit To The Lions

The Lions announced the signing and re-signing of several key players during the past week.

Late last week the Lions announced that 24-year-old Rabz Maxwane will join them from the Toyota Cheetahs. Rabz finished the 2018/19 Pro14 season as the competition’s top try-scorer with his 14 tries.

The resigning of props Sti Sithole and Jan-Henning Campher was announced on Saturday last week.

"I am blessed & honoured with another golden opportunity to inspire others. Looking forward to some more great memories in a Lions jersey." Lions hooker, Jan-Henning Campher said while Sti Sithole said "I am happy and excited to extend my stay here at the Lions. Johannesburg & the Lions have become my second home, and I am very thrilled about the great things to come."

Yesterday they announced loose forwards Len Massyn and Marnus Schoeman had also signed one-year extensions of their contracts.

“I am excited for another year ahead with the Lions family and pursuing my God-given passion,” Massyn said while Schoeman said “I am blessed to continue my journey with the Lions family,” he said, adding: “I am looking forward to what the future holds. The best is yet to come.”
