The Springbok Women's Sevens physical attack created a gap for Ayanda Malinga to score a try to reduce Fiji's lead to just 07-05 at the halftime break.
The Springbok Women's Sevens continued their physical attack with Zintle Mpupha bulldozing her way over the tryline to lead 12-07 with 5 minutes still to play in the second half. A great try by Liske Lategan in the final seconds of the match secured the Springbok Women's Sevens a famous 19-07 win against Fiji.
