Rosko Specman scored a brilliant first try after just 3 minutes of play. Argentina had to wait until the last seconds of the first half to level the scores at 05-05.
In a close game, a lapse in concentration on the defence by the Blitzboks allowed Argentina to score two tries within two minutes to open a 17-05 gap with 2 minutes still to play. Eventually, a yellow card shown to Impi Visser was the difference between the two teams.
