The inaugural Six Gun Grill Summer Sport Festival is a new product scheduled to take place in the iconic town Huguenot High School, Wellington, South Africa, scheduled for 06-11 December 2024. The exciting five-day competition will give school players who have worked hard in their off-season an opportunity to elevate their skills and provide short-term goals to work towards ahead of the new school sport season.
Top schools start their preparations for the following season in October each year, and this new competition will be a fantastic opportunity for these teams to get quality organised competition.
In the past few years, schools had a 3–5-month pre-season with very limited exposure to well-organised matches, leading to schools having to go abroad to get quality competition at a significant cost.
The Six Gun Grill Summer Sport Festival will allow the school to send a squad of players to experience ‘trial type’ conditions at an organised sports festival while enjoying the beautiful and iconic Boland over December.
