The final fixtures of the various NoordVaal divisions were played on Saturday, which resulted in everybody speculating who would be relegated and/or promoted.
Promotion and/or relegation is automatic and there are no matches to decide who gets promoted and/or relegated. The winner of a division will be promoted to the next division while the loser of a division will be relegated.
Garsfontein ended the season as the NoordVaal Cup champions for the first time since the "new structures" were implemented a few years ago, and added to that, they were crowned as the 1stXV Champions when they beat Waterkloof 36-30 on Saturday.

In 2023, the NoordVaal Cup increased its participating schools to ten schools following the scoring debacle regarding Menlopark, who was set to be relegated to the NoordVaal Plate competition. In hindsight, Menlopark ended once again at the bottom of the log, apart from newcomers Marais Viljoen, and one can ask if all the fighting was even worth it.
Marais Viljoen will be relegated to the NoordVaal Plate competition, while Transvalia, who won the NoordVaal Plate competition, will be promoted to the Noordvaal Cup competition.

Montana will be relegated to the NoordVaal Shield competition, while Wesvalia will be promoted to the NoordVaal Plate competition.
