This weekend in the Western Cape some of the top rugby schools are enjoying a weekend off, however the fight for the Southern Suburbs "crown" is heating up with a new leader possible.
Bishops will need more than R2 coins to beat the ever-improving Paarl Boishaai to regain a top 10 place on the Ruggas.co.za 1stXV ranking.
The place to be will be Riversdal when the two top schools in the area play each other. Oakdale is currently ranked ninth and Outeniqua seventh on the Ruggas.co.za ranking. Two extremely exciting teams with Oakdale the more "conservative" gameplan while Outeniqua will look to run at their hosts at every opportunity.
Wynberg will host Rondebosch on Saturday and will most probably be the leader in the "Burbs" race for the "crown". Wynberg will be on a high after their win against Bishops while Rondebosch will still be hurting after the loss against Paarl Gim two weeks ago.
SACS will know that they were in a physical battle and although their season's stats do not make "nice" reading they should still be able to beat the storming Durbanville.
Strand's hosting of Kasselsvlei is just "stupid".
