Schoolboy Rugby – The Country’s Eyes Will Be On Bloemfontein

All eyes will be on Bloemfontein this weekend when the Champions host yet another hopeful.

However, as much as we want to write Monnas's claim off to be a real number one contender it must be noted that Monnas record against Grey College is one of the best out there. Monnas have an impressive run against the mighty Grey, in the last 18 matches, the Krugersdorp side has won six times with two matches ending in draws.

Elsewhere in the Central Region, Voortrekker will host Fichardtpark in Bethlehem in what could be a long drive back to Bloemfontein for the visitors and Noord Kaap should have an easy day against Upington who is still looking for their first win of the season.

The match between Duineveld should be balanced on the edge of a knife, however, Duineveld is a bit of an unknown for us as we only have received five results for the year and they did lose to Noord Kaap (14-24) the past weekend, whereas Diamantveld were the winners against Noord Kaap (25-17) two weeks ago. Diamantveld should then be the overwhelming favourite.
