We take a short preview of the matches of the Week 4 fixtures scheduled for the weekend in the Western And Southern Cape Region. The "top" rugby schools will all be out with several top fixtures scheduled that will have a massive impact on the rankings.
Outeniqua vs Boland Landbou
Boland Landbou had a slow start against Milnerton, beating their visitors at the Oes Fees 29-18, while Outeniqua's season is under threat with a 19-28 loss to Noordheuwel. This could be one of the better matches on Saturday with Boland Landbou having to travel to George maybe, just maybe, not the favourites.
Paul Roos vs Drostdy HTS
Paul Roos is one of the favourites to challenge Grey College for the 1st place on the schoolboy rankings. It is said that they have a big pack up forwards that will provide ball to one of the best backlines in the country. Drostdy HTS on the other hand has moved from wannabees to a team that will upset some of the more fancied teams in the country.
Could this be the upset of the weekend?
Stellenberg vs Paarl Gimnasium
Stellenberg has proven itself as one of the top rugby schools in the country and also has proved to be a difficult hurdle for Paarl Gim's season opener. This will once again be an interesting match with the scoreline small, very small.
The battle of the weekend with an upset on the cards? Or is Paarl Gim really the underdogs that they claim?
Other fixtures:
Bellville vs Swartland
Durbanville vs SACS
Hermanus vs Parel Vallei
Jan van Riebeeck vs Porterville
Rondebosch vs Oakdale
Worcester Gim vs Tygerberg
