Hilton did what many expected them to do. Beat Glenwood and confirm their position as the top 1stXV in KwaZulu-Natal in beating Glenwood on Saturday.
In an exciting match Hilton opened up a healthy 18-09 lead, however, Glenwood scored just before the halftime whistle to narrow Hilton's lead to just 18-12. Glenwood dominated the opening ten minutes of the second half to take the lead 20-18 after just ten minutes. With two minutes to go Hilton converted a penalty to seal the close win with only one point.
Kearsney allowed Maritzburg to build up a lead and as much they dominated the latter part of this entertaining match the Maritzburg College's defence held for a well-deserved win.
DHS, as expected continued their splendid form although the winning margin was a bit of a surprise to the alleged informed.
