This coming weekend will be the second last round of the SARU u/20 Cup with only four teams who have a mathematical chance to qualify for the final to be played on 16 April 2022.
Following the latest round of results, it is the DHL WP who sits on top of the standings with 19 points, followed by the Vodacom Bulls on 17 points.
The defending champions, the Lions, slipped to third on the log with 15 points after suffering their second loss. The Cell C Sharks are fourth on 13 points.
They are followed by the Leopards in fifth place, who have 10 points from two wins, the Toyota Free Staters in sixth position (six points) and the winless EP who are still searching for their first league point.
DHL WP and the Lions have played five matches each while the other teams have all played four matches.
The next round of SA U20 Cup fixtures to be played on 2 April should have any major influence on the championship hopes of the teams involved.
The Vodacom Bulls will be hosting the Toyota Free State at Loftus and should not have any problems in dismissing the visitors from Bloemfontein who has been struggling with the "quality" of their forwards while the Bulls' forwards were absolutely brilliant against the defending champions Saturday in Johannesburg.
DHL Western Province is hosting a competitive side who have enjoyed a bye last weekend. The Leopards will be competitive, however, I can not see them upsetting an extremely talented home side.
The Cell C Sharks hosts the winless EP who are still searching for their first league point. Need I explain?
