SARU confirmed that the kick-off time for Saturday’s seventh-round Carling Currie Cup fixture between DHL Western Province and the Cell C Sharks in Cape Town was changed. The clash at DHL Newlands will now start at 14h15 – instead of the initial time of 19h00 – in line with the adjusted Level 3 lockdown regulations.
This encounter will mark the first of three games that will wrap up the pool stage of the competition this weekend, and they will all be broadcast live on SuperSport.
The other match on Saturday sees Tafel Lager Griquas host the Toyota Cheetahs in Kimberley at 16h30, while log leaders the Vodacom Bulls and Phakisa Pumas will bring down the curtain on the round-robin phase on Sunday at 16h00 at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit.
